“Imai Museum” was born in 1995, inheriting the will of the deceased CEO Hisayoshi Imai.This building is a Japanese style construction in rice field area. The outlook of this Japanese style building called “Dozou-dukuri” matches soft scenery of the surroundings and its white wall makes warm atmosphere.The Japanese garden on the left front of the museum is adding the beauty to the museum.
In the museum, the arts, which were accumulated by the former CEO Hisayoshi Imai, are displayed. And several selected arts from Japanese painting, Western painting, “Byobuga” (Japanese folded screen painting), “Kakejiku” (Hanging scroll), Korean celadon porcelain, white porcelain and “Mishima” are displayed according to each season.In the middle of the museum, reconstructed “Hajinioiodoshi ohyoroi”, which was recorded 1,250 years ago in the old temple Kannamiji in Sakurae-cho, which is originated by Takatsuna Sasaki, is displayed.
